I keep getting damaged books, our book source is Readerlink which I assume but I'm not sure covers most stores. What is the proper procedure for dealing with damaged books?

@Unreturnable

Damaged books are to be processed like a regular credit. There is a sticker from Readerlink (blue and white) that is supposed to be used on the outside of the box when doing a credit for them.

So, process the credit like any other vendor credit. After you have scanned all the books going out, enter NONE for the invoice number and when asked if there is a dollar amount select no. The credit program will fill in the prices, no worries. Go to the PC and print up the two of the credit papers. One is to be filed with all your other credits and the other is to be placed in the box that you are shipping out. Do not use the FEDEX or UPS website to ship out the credits, just place one of the Readerlink UPS shipping labels on the outside of the box.

If you need a phone number to contact them for the special return stickers, pm me. I believe I have the phone number still. I have a lot of them, so haven't had to call in awhile.

Thanks, that's useful new information for my part, and PM sent.
