We recently switched to 1, 3 and 5:00 pulls and all was fine until a week or so ago when they cut hardlines and softlines hours I assume because of low volume. So now its me and basically the LOD doing pulls until closing with no zone or 4x4 getting done. We might ask another hardlines TM to stay to do zone/4x4 and STILL all end up doing pulls until almost close.

Is it possible to change the time of pulls dropping until earlier (We used to do a 1,2,3,4,5 and 6:00 pulls system)

How does your store handle getting them done and zone (and 4x4 if anyone ACTUALLY does it)

pull, push, backstock. i do all my pulls by myself. i have to because noone else cares to stop backstocking to do pulls. i decided today not to pull anything. like a hour after the list drop it wasnt worked. oh well. then TL is on your butt for backstock not done. sorry i was stuck in BTS area because of no sales floor staff. i just do what i got to do. if it aint done by home time, not my problem. blargh, target. lol

I'll trade you the 1, 3, and 5 schedule for the 1 - 6 hourly pulls IN A HEARTBEAT. As a BR TM, I used to get finished completely everyday on the 1/3/5 schedule. Nowadays, the Backroom is a disaster more often than not, and I never get finished. Not to mention the struggle to get the pulls worked to the floor.

our pulls start at 11 and go every hour till about 6 i think.. im not normally there that late.. we have 1-2 br people pulling and 1 br person pushing till 10pm

I didn't know there was stores with only 1/3/5 pulls...

My store has 730am and then 11/12/1/2/3/4/5 and soon we will get rid of 730am and have a 7pm pull which will be a lot bigger.

My guess is low volume stores do this because you don't need to replenish the floor every hour and you can schedule 5 hour shifts 1-6pm.

It is a Low volume pilot atm

Yeah my current store is a low volume and we do 1/3/5 with an 9 am pfresh batch. The batches are so small that backroom handles all the pulls, push, and back stock.
