hey guys! I know I have posted on the gstl subject before but I do need some advice. I am scheduled as GSTL/GSA at least once a week. I am a tm, but I have a few cashiers that don't take any of the other gsas seriously for anything be it redcards to reshop. The GSTL has basically given us the authority to tell the cashiers what they have to do. Is that something I can do? Any tips from other GSAs would be appreciated! Even GSTLs. I just need some advice to show them I mean business but not to the point where I am trying to be the team lead. But gsa is somewhat of a leadership position. Sorry for the long post but, basically what's my standing? What can I do to enforce my expecti nw and whatnot...without coaching as that's something I cant do. Thanks!

Are you a TL? And do you know why you're scheduled as a GSA/TL at least once a week? Do you work at the front end at all?

@tgtguy that's the best thing I have ever heard. It's just trying to position it in the appropriate way. Thanks!

if you're in a gstl/gsa position, but not a tl, call a tl over. the tl is acting as the person delivering the coaching/corrective. you're sending the message. you need to clear it with the stl/etl, but if you're not respected as a leader and having to do gstl shifts... they should have no problems.
