    Archived MyDevice Phone calls

Equupment control was great when we kept the door locked and required a TL/ETL or HR TM to sign out/in devices. Until that date we were down one lost device. Now, two more have gone missing. We have 122 total, including 4 myCheckouts, and the powers are getting more laxed with it, all the while...

Archived Saving your AAR in face of the dreaded gift card

I wouldn't do what the OP suggested, but thinking outside the box and making those numbers is what the dreaded "Be Bold" is about. They're giving away millions probably to matching prices or to guest challenges and some of you are referring to what's right or wrong. I ok my team to take 3 or 4...

    I'm Lost! The REDCard Thread

There was a store that suspended transactions once a prompt showed up. They were consistently way green until someone "deep dived". The STL lost their job.

Archived I got a 13 cent raise today for my review.

Honesty. That's all anyone asks for. I shoot it straight to my TMs all year and even do mini - leadership statuses with them, so there's no shock in April. They know I fight for what's right, but I have no input on the raise. I've gotten Os and EXs most of my time with Spot, except for getting...

    Archived 401k loan

It depends on whether or not you have the payoff form already and if you first class or overnight it. As long as you have it there by Tuesday (to be safe) it would be paid off by Thursday, and you can go from there.

Archived Is AAR becoming a total pain for every store now?

I got hit with the AAR glitch this week. I had a TM who was out all week "sell" a PS4 with no attachments when on top of it we didn't have any in stock. He also didn't get credit for the Wii U game sale with the console. At least he sold a TV while he was off. Ha!

    Archived Phone Shopping

Yes. Phone shopping is the worse, especially when they want exact prices with the variety. "Sorry sir, we have too wide a selection to break down for you. A store visit may be in order." Worst of all are when TMs call from other stores with moronic and insane requests. We had a TM today call...

No, you can't change what counts. That is all done at a corporate level.

Correct. However, Blu-Rays do count as attachments for DVD Players, since they are in the same main item category.

Archived Is AAR becoming a total pain for every store now?

It does count. That's why the TM report has a different score than the one under the GE section. It's been mentioned in this thread and on mySupport.

Archived Is AAR becoming a total pain for every store now?

It doesn't matter what you're being told. They don't count. Nor do headphones (unless they're in a transaction with a legit main item, and even then they only count towards the main item) or Leap Pads or curling irons. Most execs have zero clue about AAR. Which is why the TLs and TMs need to...

    Archived AAR Tracking

That's true, he needs to look under the hood. And I know exactly what I'm doing and my team is trained extremely well. Our issues come from our sister store which is a little too close for comfort. They tell guests anything, and most of it is usually moronic, haha.

    Archived AAR Tracking

Looking at the actual numbers is exactly what I've done. The fact is, we miss at least a 1-3% attachment rate weekly from TVs and streaming players that go to the front (and we're 77% YTD). Pointing blame to the cashiers is not the solution, but recruiting and educating them to the cause is...

    Archived AAR Tracking

It stinks they still aren't counting your HDMI cables. As of last week ours are still good. Hope they fix that soon for you, cause thats a crucial add on with Blu-Rays and Rokus.

    Archived AAR Tracking

Hey WGT, As Nolonger said, there is no master list of eligible items, just that general one on mySupport, which is helpful, though not comprehensive. We keep that list in plain sight at the "Electronics Service Desk" so any backups will have a cheat sheet. We also keep affordable attachments...
