    FFTL

Yeah I was never a remodel lead but I did many as a TM and it was the best job ive done at Target.

    FFTL

Its been a long time since I have been a FFTL and I thought it was one of the easier jobs I did. You need to manage the schedule and breaks more then any other workcenter, but I got my support was also top notch from my peers. I would always help support them too so it was an even try imo...

    New Rollouts for 2025?

I remember when I was a backroom tm after we finished the pulls I spent 3-4 hours a night going through the backroom fixing aisles and purging locations. Imagine having that kinda time now. Fast Fun and Friendly was the time to be a proud target employee.

How do I get out of my comfort zone and finally leave this job?

3 things come to mind to me. 1. Joining a union cam get you great pay and benefits after just a couple years of work but the labor jobs aren't for everyone. 2.Get your CDL A license, but truck driving pay is good but notexactly what it used to be. Can get this in just a few months in most...

    Pension

I'm at 15 years and I missed it by a couple months. I remember learning about it when I got hired and was like oh damn but that won't matter I won't be here long enough for it to matter, and yet here I am. I am not exactly sure what the benefits are but I really don't plan on being with spot...

MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

Yeah it's a pain to get the stacker in there to make use of the pallets but it is nice we have the light duty shelving underneath it. I don't work in that store anymore unfortunately and this new store is a disaster when it comes to signing

MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

I mean without see how it looks it can't help too much biggest thing is making sure signing doesn't get backed up and is done on time. This should of been done years ago. Just need to set up an area to put the smaller signing away neatly I did it on top of shelves on wall with tilted shelves...

Is anyone else's store starting to worry them?

My store canceled a bunch for inventory because it was that bad. Scheduled for 5 doubles this week lead team was at like 210 hours to start this madness. Nobody understands how to schedule for a double and it basically instantly goes back to the same problem.

    PFN- routines

There is literally a routine worksheet on workbench for tls that list everything that should be done daily weekly monthly etc. Not everything is for every lead and it's a little redundant and dumb but it's there.

    Line coming back?

There can be minor feedback but from all my experience as a test store you are forced to make it work or your the problem not the process.

After 5 years I think I'm finally broken

Honestly you can give them some slack but if they are unhappy and pushing that down on you like they are getting from above them then it isn't any better. I stepped down a while ago now and it's been the best decision I've made. I can be a little salty because I see these new leads and etls...

    POG Sets

No someone is tieing it to meet the metric for set on time. Setting pogs early can be beneficial as when the product comes in it can go right out.

Target in the 90s? I don't think so.

I mean it looks like someone just took a ton of photos from the internet or whatever. Im assuming some are from the 90s and some are probably later they just threw in to make a longer video

How long does planorama usually last?

The planorama is usually a week. There is a lot of prep before so though.

15 years and counting at Target

I know in the past you could not be a current target employee to apply for internship but that was so long ago since I looked it may have changed. I know they also weren't really promoting from tm to etl without previous experience in leadership. If your plan Is to move up I'd look into TL asap.

    2024 pilots / restructuring?

I mean it's not hard to do pricing regardless. I did it back in the day

Have your stores changed the truck days in 2024

Have had multiple cancelations as well averaging about one every 2 weeks

    2024 pilots / restructuring?

That is how we are doing it in my store. Scheduling a style tm under gm to do pricing in style.

Over payroll hours in 1st wk January

There is 0% chance your SD didn't notice a discrepancy and they are making excuses they probably overscheduled hours. My store overscheduled like crazy and are cutting hours this week hard.
