Probably part of the land lease agreement with the property owner. Grocery store probably was there first and has exclusive rights to sell produce and meat. So Target if they wanted that location had to agree to that term for as long as the lease is active for the other tenant

Is your store in a large metro area? I feel like the quality of candidates for store director is very low for your area considering who they're apparently hiring. Must be a lot of competition amongst stores for a shallow pool of candidates

In case you don't have a device, I guess. It became less important as the devices started to gain more functionality and become more available to TM's. Hardly anyone used the paper list but I saw it printed out & taped to the reshop basket handle pretty often.

"Reshop" used to be a thing. The team would scan each item into the cart, then could print the list from the guest service register. The list had a breakdown of the pog location, description, and upc barcode for each item in the cart

None of this is the job of receiving. Sweep the receing area but not the whole backroom. Their next receiving person will quit quickly. When are you leaving? Are they aware? Have they even given you someone else to train yet?
