I'm to the point that I no longer argue with them. When they tell me that the sign didn't say they had to buy two, I just ask if they still want the one, or if they would like a second one for the gift card. We all know the sign says it, and I'm done wasting my time to go back there to prove what I already know. So either they can grab a second one or return the first. But pick an option and let's move on. If they want to waste their own time going back there to see it for themselves, they can do it on their own time.
