Interesting about the pay steps.

It looks like Meijer does followups too every six months with that.

I have never understood why companies don't do followups with new hires after 3/6/9 months to see how things are going.

ETLs are supposed to do 30/60/90 day check-ins with new team members. 6 and 12 month check-ins are mid year performance and annual performance reviews. TLs receive check-ins quarterly. A lot of stores skip everything but the performance reviews.

I actually brought up something like that with the ETL that interviewed me years ago but it never happened.

However the ETL did bring up a guest that was stealing all vacuums.

WTF!
