Do we need to place a date sticker on frozen sausages and sausage rolls when they start to thaw, even if they already have a date on them?

I always thought that since they come frozen, it needs to have a date on it to track thawing time, but some of my team members say no because it already has a use/freeze by date on it. I feel those dates are too far out for the thawing, but what do I really know? 🤷🏾‍♀️ What do you guys do with the sausages that are frozen and start to thaw on the floor if they already have a use/freeze by date on it?

The Jimmy Dean sausages have a date already on it. Most do need dates though and should have the shelf life on the label. The date on the box for those labels are only if the product is kept frozen.
