They just joined and those are their only 2 postings. I'd take it with a grain of salt. Or they think every store is exactly like theirs, where they're lucky enough to get it. Not entirely sure what goes into how Target determines higher base / differentials for each market or specific store.Where did you find this information?
Lord Necro Thread is that you?
Plus the dates start on a Thurs and ends on a Tues. They just joined and those are their only 2 postings. I'd take it with a grain of salt. Weekends are also dramatically busier and the zone gets shopped a lot heavier. So as usual I do all the work on weekdays while the kazy fucks get extra money to screw shit up on my days off... good job Spot
sooooooo what I'm hearing is "see you next year"?? 🤣 🤣 😂
I don't see it as an insult considering they don't have to give anything extra at all. In all my years of retail, Target's the only place that ever gave bonuses or extra pay to regular employees. Even in the heyday of Sears, the plebs and hourly managers got nada. They are talking about the extra two bucks an hour.
If you have an 8 hour shift which is unlikely with Spot, 7.5 is more likely, then you will make an extra 16 bucks that day from their largesse.
It's not a poke in the eye with a sharp stick but it's really a bit of an insult to the people who work so hard all year round.
They should make that raise permanent and give bonuses for Q4.
I'm sorry, 25 years in this gig and Home Depot gave us a quarterly bonus based on sales (every TM got it) and a Christmas Perty, Toys R Us gave us a Christmas Party with massive coupons for shopping, K-Mart gave us a Christmas Party and your birthday was a paid day off (except for me... stupid almost Christmas birthday), Benjamin Moore paints monthly bonus based on sales. They used to provide a nice Christmas spread though. That stopped once things started their long, slow circling of the drain.
Two extra bucks an hour sounds good to me, put me on every Saturday and Sunday!
Back in the 90s we had an annual Christmas party at a rented space. One year was a ballroom at a hotel and we had a casino night. We were each given so much play money to bet with. Etls drove from the next town over to staff the store on a Sunday evening.I'm sorry, 25 years in this gig and Home Depot gave us a quarterly bonus based on sales (every TM got it) and a Christmas Perty, Toys R Us gave us a Christmas Party with massive coupons for shopping, K-Mart gave us a Christmas Party and your birthday was a paid day off (except for me... stupid almost Christmas birthday), Benjamin Moore paints monthly bonus based on sales. I think they stopped around 2005. Give or take a few.Do you still have a party? Just curious, because I've been here over a decade and we've had nothing... unless your a TL/ETL
Were you management at those places? My husband worked at Home Depot as a regular employee and never received any quarterly bonuses.I'm sorry, 25 years in this gig and Home Depot gave us a quarterly bonus based on sales (every TM got it) and a Christmas Perty, Toys R Us gave us a Christmas Party with massive coupons for shopping, K-Mart gave us a Christmas Party and your birthday was a paid day off (except for me... stupid almost Christmas birthday), Benjamin Moore paints monthly bonus based on sales.
