Why did you have to return? Things were SO nice when you were gone. I can sympathize and understand that you were laid off at your other job (which you were soooo happy to leave Target for and rubbed in everyone's faces) because of the federal cuts on university research, but you still shouldn't have come back. You are dead weight. Useless. Unreliable for anything including the bare minimum. Why do you NEVER do any OPUs, respond to a call for backup at checkout or any guest service calls?? Why are you the only TM that's allowed to not pull anything and just wander the store aimlessly?? If me or anyone else did that, we'd get coached at a minimum. And how are you soooo tired all the time when you DON'T FUCKING DO ANYTHING???
Let's not forget how disrespectful you are, always inserting yourself into conversations and making everything about you. Self-centered prick. It was truly unbelievable how I was talking to a coworker and friend about how awful things have been for me lately and not only did you demand to know what was going on (it was my mistake for letting you hear and not just telling you to piss off), it took you not even five seconds to ask if I had played the video game you like. MY LIFE IS IN SHAMBLES AND YOU'RE ASKING ME IF I PLAYED MORE SONIC THE HEDGEHOG OR SHADOW OR WHATEVER IT IS LATELY?? GROW UP!!!!!
I wish you would get fired but it won't happen. Our new HR TL will not bat an eye to your lack of action and our SD is too nice. You make work miserable.
 
Why not just do your work and punch out? If this new/old hire affects your performance go to the next level. If not, ignore them, him, her.

Easier said than done. When the store is understaffed (which is always) and all the other people in GM inevitably get pulled to be at checkout all day, that just leaves me, one other person and this clown. The other person is always responding to guest service calls while I do OPUs (and also guest service calls cuz there are so many - lots of stuff locked up at my store), so that leaves this idiot. He COULD help us out and respond every once in a while, he just doesn't. And HR is unfortunately too willing to accommodate him for god knows what reason. It sucks
 
Why in the world did your store take back this awful TM? Or is this one of those people who talks a good game to the higher-ups and makes everyone at their own level miserable?
I seriously do not know. He barely even talks to the TLs and I know two of my old TLs used to talk smack on him for how much he sucked so who knows what kind of wizard magic he used to convince the store to rehire him. Maybe it's because we have a new HR TL who doesn't really care about anything?
 
To think taxpayers were funding this doofus's naptime at the university.
He might have been great in that university job. I've had co-workers over the years, including at Target, who were pretty bad but once they get in a job they actually like and are well suited for, they thrive.
Doesn't make it right or fair that he makes life miserable for his Target co-workers, but I wouldn't make assumptions that he's like that everywhere.
