Our PML is a great asset to the store. He has been there since the store opened and knows all there is to know about the building. Cool guy, too, always helpful and reliable. Store leadership had him help with crowd control back when we had those massive Black Friday lines. He always had a smile and was friendly to the crowd, but you could just tell he wasn’t about to take any guff from anybody, and he didn’t, either. He never seemed too stressed, even before visits, he just came to work and did his thing. He has a pretty thorough knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general repairs, but for major problems the store calls in a plumber or electrician.
I think the worst parts of his job were when he had to change the bulbs and ballasts in the backroom lights on the Wave, which looked repetitive and boring, and when he had to repair the backroom shelf uprights after someone bent them with the Wave. No smile on uprights repair day for sure, and if our PML found out who bent the upright, they wouldn’t be smiling, either.😂
From outside observation, PML seems like one of Spot’s lower stress jobs.
