I took off part of last week and this week for vacation. Yesterday I tried to put in paid time for last week and it wouldn’t let me. Has something changed? I will talk to HR tomorrow. Just wondering if you guys knew anything.
Who did they send to help? Was it a front end person? When front end is not busy they send them to help others. Flex gets sent when batches are low. I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Being a trainer is awesome. You must be doing something right if they made you trainer.
If leaders approve of them coming in late to cut OT. Couldn’t schedules be changed so, they would not be late. Also couldn’t these team members leave a few minutes early as well?
When I worked at CVS we had pre filled helium balloons all I can say is pain in the a$$!!!!! Who would be in charge of this? Front end? GM? Speciality sales?
I would take the lead position. This would give you some experience as a leader. You could always became a Starbucks leader later. Leaders do get shifted around or some quit. As a front end leader you could still help out some with Starbucks.
15 year employee here and I have never seen anyone get rehired after being fired. Attendance might not have been the reason for the firing. It was probably productivity like they said. Getting time off in December is not impossible but, difficult. Put in time off request as soon as possible...
