That’s a good point our remodel had a dayside TL and an overnight TL (though the overnight got more credit because she knew her shit) plus an ETL so I feel like dayside would be a reasonable accommodation
It depends when our Hr was fully staffed they would have some flex and cashier shifts, and also 2 of the HREs were CO trained which was helpful. But now with Hr being slammed with new hires and training they don’t. Put usually at my store if they are scheduled for HR they work hr that day
We are over goal by about 10 million for the year and likely to go over by 15 before the end of FY21 which is exciting because we might get a fifth SETL and a 2nd Flex TL, 3rd Closing TL and a maybe a second etl se
Actually I spoke to HR and they said legally you only need to take a 30 minute lunch but we do 45 minutes to avoid TMs getting overtime so right now with overtime being given out like candy I’ve been taking 30 minute second and third lunches as needed, and Hr says it’s fine
I think this also might be a state thing because officially target says no unless a state law prevents them from enforcing that rule, so some second amendment friendly states may allow for employees to CCW. But every state allows for employee to carry in their car
you probably generate a barcode for ur TM number and another for pin and then have to scan both. But im not sure how probably on ur phone and then print it
So previously ETLs would get every other weekend off. A rumor has been going around that between now and January ETLs are required to work every single weekend and if they need it off they can only get one day off, not both. Is there any truth to this? If so we’re gonna run out of ETLs fast
I think if you work hard take on responsibility and ur ETL and SD recognize that they would make you a card and a gift hopefully regardless of what stupid card corporate sends
Yes how is the person who processes the day, SETLs and Snr TMs who do Garda and close registers supposed to get to the funds. Plus it’s not like those people are chosen lightly it’s often team members who have been with target for years and are trusted completly, plus with the recycler the safe...
At my store it doesn’t matter whether you a scheduled guest service or check lanes it depends on the business needs of the day plus whether or not ur good at guest service vs better at check lanes
My store just switched to MyStore when we remodeled and got the touch screen time clocks. The new MyTime app is better shift swaps no longer need to be approved within the department, and we don't need to log in every time
Become friends with your guest service/drive team, the SETL, and the sr TMs who close. You will have to share a workspace with them when putting items to hold and they can be a valuable ally to help you hold your team to your expectations and prevent mistakes.
I was told by several ETLs that our store is going to $16 an hour now and we will still get the Holiday Premium of $1 this year. Anyone else’s store getting the raise or is this just our store?
