Strong piece of advice. You would be amazed how devastating it is for your feet to stand on the same equipment for 10 to 12 hours. Invest in some VERY comforterable shoes (target approved of course). Buy some gel insoles or something, because otherwise it will feel like your feet were beaten...

Im in inbound anyway, so my job is to unload and recieve trucks all day, so why not unload and recieve trucks at a store?

Ive worked at a dc for about a year now and have been considering picking up a second job for extra cash. Since obviously I cant work for a competitor I thought working for a local target store would be perfect. Has anyone here ever heard if thats even possible?

Unions are the worst idea. Everyone is so spoiled these days. Union were created back when most jobs were dangerous. Back when the death rates at job sites was 50%. Back when those same jobs paid next to nothing at all. Unions served their purpose and brought us out of that era. Here and now...

Haha ok ok. I will be the first to say their job is very important, but the individual workload of a UA is nowhere near that of production crew. Our UAs even admit that. Most UAs are from production, and thats why they posted for FacOps. Easier workload.
