My store followed it and we have one SSTL that reports to the SD. We're low volume. Some stores really just have one SSTL. I would know, because it's me.

Has anyone implemented this? We were told to hold off as this restructuring doesn't work for all stores, yet all the workload and sales have started falling under specialty sales this week.

I hope so, but my SD doesn't think that's happening and the org chart hasn't changed to show otherwise.

In my opinion, it's more evenly split as far as sales go. However, I'm in a LV store with myself as the sole SSTL and my SD as my ETL. So now I'm going to own more than 50% of the store in footage with no other TL while Food/GM will still have 3 TLs. My issue isn't with SS owning these areas...

I'm a former SrTL and me and the other former SrTL are the only ones closing. Closing TL takes vacation? One of us has to close. It's really annoying, especially since they took away the pay + key carrier pay. If we're all the same now, everyone should have to close, just my opinion.

Was promoted from TM to SrTL. I had two weeks of LOD training, zero TL training.

I think it's hard to have a closing routine, as priorities change daily. My suggestion, if you're getting no direction, is to pick what you can complete. Don't start stocking a pallet if you can't finish it, but if you know you can finish those grocery uboats, do those.

I have my team mark down repackages weekly with their regular price change workload.

You want as few prints as possible. So if there's 3 items and you only print 2 tickets, it can negatively impact their metrics. If there are multiple SF locations, the printing two separate times has no impact. I don't think salvaging out things separately has any impact on any metric...

You are correct. I'm a SrTL. If I'm opening or closing LOD, I have this thing on my schedule marked as perimeter check. At my store, it's 10 min, but I think the standard is 15. So when I clock out, I get paid for 10 additional minutes after clocking out to arm the building, drive the perimeter...

I believe they do, but not sure where you'd find it. I know my store has had a cover girl Mascara sidecap in food forever and the pptl told me it's called for there.

My store is ulv and rarely has a CA during the week, but always on Saturday and Sunday.

We had tons of stuff NOP, but not discontinued and no new pog for the stuff from the back wall that didn't move to the gondolas.
