    STI merit bonus

Targets Corp score was 87. I believe it would be difficult if not impossible to get a 6% bonus even if you were an upper right. As for raises there are different factors that are accounted for. Some being performance, where the tm is (salary wise) with peers, what kind of budget was allotted, etc

    Stores to SC?

I’m not sure which DCs have multiple OMs per department, but sign me up! At our DC, each key is down at least 1 OM and with the reduction of headcount over the last year+, each department has 1 OM with the “flex” basically training any new OM of covering what vacation they allow us to take...

    Unpaid time off

It has to be approved, it isn’t automatically approved. I would imagine if the dc is in it mode, they wouldn’t approve it

    Dc comp days

To L5’s get a comp day for Christmas even though the dc is closed? I thought we do, but b2 has to use it for Christmas Eve as the building closes after b1. Anyone know for sure?

Has anyone done the foundational(?) leadership program?

Probably not. Just like the “yellow belt” training. It’s useless outside of target.

Apollo/new MBP expectation? Anybody know it?

In mbp prod expectations vary due to density. Your om should also/rather be looking at locations per hour.

    Red lights

They can’t take the airline lock off either. So they would have to drag the door trailer out. Sure it could happen, but it is as close to foolproof as it can really get.

    Red lights

I believe it is now a da final for a rlm, making it 2 strikes and you’re out. In buildings that don’t have the salvo system, it can certainly be a dangerous system. If your building has the salvo system and you understand how it works on both sides of the wall, you would know the yard driver...

    OM/TL

Very difficult to overturn CAs. The only one I heard of was a loafing da being overturned because the tm brought in a dr note explaining why.

    Memes? I’ll start.

Not since dpm was decommissioned. We have had entire days where prod data is not collected. Sure makes bridging easy

    Memes? I’ll start.

It’s down 50% of the time. Prod allocated to the correct areas. Missing reporting capabilities of dpm. Sure, the idea is great but it was rushed out without being complete. Should be much further along before a network rollout.

I feel this meme everyday. Apollo is trash!

    ICQA getting slashed

Sorry to hear that. But sounds like target dude is from a Texas dc. Heard of quite a few om’s getting axed down there.

    Schedule exception

I believe you are talking about ada. There are very few ways to Ada. If you work a keys you could try to get a dr saying you can only work 10 hours. Other than that, definitely challenging

We are still hiring, but mostly warehouse associates and seasonals I believe. The fla going away puts more workload on first shift pc’s (more so b1). Support om’s hours are definitely less appealing now.

You are probably correct with the Lww’s being used as cheap management. That is how they are able to cut om headcount across the network. Now they are changing hours or support om’s. The support om’s I’ve talked to think it’s so they quit.

    Merit Level 1

Those are the risks you take going to merit so early in the progression scale. The only raise you will get is with the yearly review.

    Operations Manager Intern

You would probably get an offer between 80-85k Pto, I believe is 3 weeks plus 7 comp days for holidays A key om’s work roughly 44 hours in 3 days and b key om’s work roughly 50-52 hours in 4. If you agree to fill in outside of your normal shift, you would get a different day off that week. I...

    DA vs CA

Both lead to termination. A da is a one off event, like has been explained. A ca is trend based. Both type go ca/da, final, term. Both court to the three ca then next one you’re out rule too.
