I’ve been Target 14 years and it is my only source of income. When hours are low I make it work. Pick up shifts, use vacation, ask to come in early or stay late. Peeps always calling out so there is usually some extra hours around.
The problem with that is let’s say you select fulfillment as your work center, when you answer questions about your leadership they think your talking about fulfillment leads not your actual leaders.
Definitely check out store before transferring. We have people at my store who prefer to drive 30 minutes to my store rather than work at store closer to them.
Did it give you employee discount? For same day delivery you can pay with any card but, should only get discount with red card. Things could have changed and I didn’t notice.
I feel exactly the same. In addition to money I wouldn’t want to take a new job and be low man on the totem pole. I’m scheduled mornings and get occasional weekends off without asking. I have open availability. I do not want to go back to doing nights and all weekends.
It irritates me when people say Target is not a real job. I work 35-40 hours every week. I make about $17 per hour. I have full benefits health 401k etc.. I have vacation and sick time. I am able to pay all my bills each month. Why is that not a real job.
