spider wrap

So recently our TLs told us that we are in charge of spiderwrapping our own merchandise but a month ago they told us it was the AP's job. Any insight on what the actual policy is ?

What’s the weirdest item you’ve seen/had to spider wrap at Target?

My store used to do this with certain items like the robotic vacuum cleaners. Nowadays my store has gotten rid of most of those wires and the items are just spider wrapped.
