time and a half

SO IT RECENTLY CAME TO MY ATTENTION THAT IM WORKING 42 HOURS THIS WEEK AM I GONNA GET IN TROUBLE FOR WORKING OVERTIME IT REALLY ISNT MY FAULT ANYWAY BECAUSE I WAS ASKED TO COME IN AND STAY LONGER SHOULD I BE CONCERNED AM I GONNA GET FIRED?

Has anyone here ever been disciplined for hitting overtime I was cashiering and didn't realize that I might have gone over until I saw that I had worked 35.8 hours already this week and had just worked a 4.5 shift.
