So I came in for my shift and I learned that one of my coworkers left Spot 🎯 for greener pastures. I was happy 😊 for them. I did happen to Scan my team and A lot of us are coming to our Wits End. This is the first Target 🎯 I worked at where the majority of the Team Had 2nd jobs (Including myself). I think that’s why so many are just called it quits. I hope Leadership is taking notice. In my opinion, the Leadership would be better if Set Expectations and Timelines were set BEFORE the Shift starts. To give a Timeline when the Shift is about to be over in my opinion is a way for employees to lose respect 🫡 for Leadership. Please, comments, feedback.

Your leadership might be noticing what's happening. Or they might not. Kind of amazing how dull-witted they can be sometimes.
Not sure how many TMs at my store have second jobs. Quite a few are still living with their parents. Many of those who aren't have spouses with jobs so it's not just the TM's salary supporting the household. The ones of us who don't fit into either of those categories? I think a pretty fair number of us have side gigs because we're just not getting enough hours this time of year.
And of course it'll be your good workers who will leave because they're the ones who will find another job the easiest. Too bad for you and your store. On the other hand, it might present you with a good opportunity to move into a different work center if you want to.

This has been a trend. When I was still with Target, a lot of the better employees reached their wit’s end and quit. And I don’t want to call myself one of the “good” employees, because I wasn’t perfect, but I’ve been there for almost 11 years. I saw the deterioration in real time, it wasn’t nearly as bad in 2013.

So I’ve made a decision to not shop at Target since I quit in June. Nothing personal against my own store. But the only way to send a message to Target is to hurt their profits. And it’s not only because of my experience working there, but I speak as a customer (yes, customer) myself. I don’t want to wait 15 minutes for some overworked employee to come over with a key to unlock a can of deodorant spray.
