Archived Call out before schedule is out or after schedule is out?

Quick question, I have a school event on a sunday next week. I usually work weekends but the schedule isn't out yet. Do i call out now or wait until the schedule is out?

Just be prepared to be dinged for calling out.

Calling out on a Sunday at the start of the Holiday shopping season will not look good.

If it's for 11/11 (that's what I would consider to be next week), you should have that schedule already. If it's for 11/18, you may still have a chance to put in a request for time off because that schedule isn't written yet, but if you do, please make sure to also go talk to your TL so they know to look for it.

Talk to your TL or ETL and see what they can do. If the schedule hasn't been made yet, they can probably accommodate it, and even if it is made, they may be able to work with you.

This. As one who worked on a busy Sunday closing on the floor with only another HL TM, please let your TL/ETL know you need that day, instead of leaving us running around for callboxes like headless chickens, because you called out.
