Are any stores getting ridiculous in store goals for Circle Cards after the outage?

The forecast has always been 7 a week in our district. We beat forecast last month by about 10 cards, and now all of a sudden we are expected to do 25 in store cards a week. The weird thing is other stores in the district are still 7, and another store that was making goal got moved to 9.

I would understand a small increase, but to raise our goal by over 300% is just wrong. We were excited about finally hitting goal, but I guess the punishment is more work and an impossible quota.

Must be trying to regain some card usage due to guests cancelling cards due to recent company decision.

That and the lack of business from the boycott as well.
They have always seen the cards as a way to guarantee someone will return.

What happens if out of eligible transactions (guest has a SSN and DL/ID, also has an email, is over 18, credit isn’t frozen, and doesn’t have a Circle Card) none can apply? Do they count each transaction as eligible?

One way they could increase signups is to have dedicated lanes for Circle Card users. Turn every checkout that’s not being used into a SCO for Circle Card holders. They would either have to insert the card or scan the app to start scanning anything. I know they probably won’t do it because of theft but it’s something that they should consider
