Applied for Hardlines Seasonal at the Target nearby, the TL that was interviewing me said they were looking for someone in Electronics which happens to be something I'm pretty knowledgeable in.

I talked to some friends who've worked at Target who said Electronics isn't as glamorous as it seems..I'm just glad I'm not doing flow (no offense to the flow TM's here). Can anyone chime in on how Electronics goes in terms of a normal workday?

Welcome! It depends if you have a mobile guy, extended electronics or nothing but you. Search under electronics or aar for starters.

Here's how my typical opening routine in Electronics goes:

-clock in, grab equipment and keys

-if I'm coming later than 8, take any reshop from guest service came in before I did

-turn on any tv's on the wall that didn't automatically turn on at 8

-check all game displays and the xbox kiosk to make sure they're up and running

-work reshop

-by this time, it's usually around 10 or 10:30 and the LOD is calling for a huddle/4x4 in another dept.

-after the huddle, I'll work the morning pulls and help guests till midday

-call for midday reshop/zone around noon

-work on midday and other various tasks the LOD might have for me and help guests for the rest of my shift
