Has anyone ever taken a look at Targets glassdoor reviews? I can't take these reviews seriously. I understand things differ from store to store but all these great 5 star reviews...can I transfer to that store? Ha. Or maybe some people are just way more positive than me. Anyways, here's a link:

You haven't gotten to my review yet lol. For current employees, the rating is only about a 3, though. That's not good, but also not bad. I closed the tab, but I think you can sort the reviews if you wanted to. You can also look at top rated companies within categories. Of course costco and like wegmans were in the top for retail last time I looked. Not surprising.

I think we get caught up in the negative a lot more than the positive. While there is a lot that Target can do to improve the way they treat their team members, Target is still a lot better than most employers. It's retail, it'll never be perfectly the way we want it no matter which one we work for. Many of the reviews I can relate to both the pros and cons.

I'm personally not surprised that there are positives. I listed positives in my review, but there aren't enough for. 5 star review for me. Target isn't in the top ten of national reviews though. I can't remember where I saw the list on glassdoor (of large retailers) that went further than ten, but here's the top ten if anyone was interested...
