The interview went fine in my opinion but after the interview I was just told that she had to give everything to hr and I would get an email in 5 days saying if they are gonna hire me. Now Im assuming that means I didn't get the job or does target actually tell people over an email that they got hired?

If you get the job, they will call you. If you didn't get the job, they'll send an email.

We had to cancel 2 orientations so far, due to hours being cut.

When I was doing my second interview and then later hired I was told I would get a e-mail in about 3-5 days stating my orientation date but the ETL-HR lady told me to ignore that because it was the system and she would call when it was set-up and she did 😀 they were apparently waiting for the other person.

Me being me and really excited went to the store on the date on which I was told to disregard lol...

Yeh, normally they wait 'til you're HIRED before cutting hrs.

I would not advise calling hr. If you had only one interview, you didn't get the job. Sorry. Calling only annoys the person who answers the phone and the hr tm. At least in our store.
