Archived Hello new Customer Service team member what to expect?

Hello everyone i just got hired as a customer service team member and am very excited! Ive worked in retail before but never at target. So i am just wondering what should i expect? any advice? my orientation is on friday and i cant wait haha

You should expect to kiss a lot of guest ass, that is about it. Give them whatever they want. I recieved an email from leadership saying they would rather you give the guest 10 bucks out of the register than to piss them off. (Not the total story but I can go into more detail if anyone is interested)

If you are talking about Guest Service TM, then you will start out cashiering more than likely. Possibly in Food Ave/Starbucks if they see you as an asset in them. If anything like my past stores, after your initial 90 days, you will be trained at Guest Service for returns and guest relations.
