our store we have these usb and microusb things on electronics keys. we just plug em in

We were trying to figure it out one day before the store opened, digging around in the mobile cabinet my ETL bumped the surge protector and turned it off. The alarm stopped 😛

It went off again the other day, eventually stopped itself (after going off for like 10/15 minutes) before the keys made it over to electronics. I think the phone was going dead which caused it to think the phone was no longer attached?

"Bumped" the surge protector. Haha

Mobile iPhone displays: USB key. Annoying and eardrum destroying guest service/gift registry iPads: the IR key. Guest setting off the door alarm and just can't proceed due to some unknown force? Move them with the cart pusher. Or just swipe all their stuff over the EAS deactivator at electronics/guest service. All other shit: the S3 key, don't worry if you lose it because you can always buy another on amazon or ebay if you need it.

at my store losing a key is final warning. its not the cost of the key, it's that the guests will have a field day if they find it.

Sorry, should've used sarcasm font. Edited.

Everyone should do everything possible to never lose keys regardless of store level punishment.
