Exactly 3 years ago I was hired as a tech team member. Last week, I quit, because the inept morons that run this company couldn’t be bothered to follow my availability requests. I didn’t give notice, because they wouldn’t do the same to me.

I almost 60 and have been laid off and/or fired a few times in my life.

Down the road a year or so no one will even care under what circumstances caused you to leave.

You are an "at-will" employee in most cases and can be fired for any reason at any time.

Workers that don't understand have never been laid off or fired IMHO.
