I had my car stolen, and my keys were in them. I just got new sets. Obviously, that was out of my control. I've never permanently lost my keys. Because of course, you don't stop looking until you find them.

No judgment but, why would you leave Target keys in your car? Shouldn’t they be on you at all times or securely in your house if your not at work.

Completely fair! Just a bad habit. Whenever I'd bring them in the house, I would always lose/forget them, but whenever I'd leave 'em in the car, I never had that problem. So without specific intent, I began doing just that. Of course, I was naïve to think that I would never be the victim of robbery or grand theft auto.

Mrs. Captain and I have two hooks in the kitchen either side of a small bulletin board. That's where they go, habitually, every day and night. Losing keys is stressful. We don't need additional stress in life.

If it's the key to the whole store- final warning. Whole store has to be re-key and costs money.

Key to certain area- written warning but could be a final if it's an electronics key or anything that opens money.

Baler keys got frequently lost. I just took one to a hardware store and got my own copy made just in case.

Equipment keys - Write up/Final Corrective Action.

Door/till keys - Final Corrective Action/Term.

One of our Etl lost her key by claiming her car got broken into . Except nothing else was stolen out of her car but the key.She was termed and store had to be re-core it was somewhere around 10k

Had an SD lose his key and he was written up as a final. Basically the DSTL was like don't do it again. Depends on situation

I feel Sorry for Anyone In Leadership (Senior Team Leader, ETL, STL and above 👆🏽 if y’all lose y’all’s keys 🔑) as I was told that you’re fired/Termed for that. As to “regular” keys for like an Electronic Case, Bailer or Shampoo 🧴, Written Warning ⛔️/Coaching corrective. I saw in above ☝🏾 comments and yes 👍🏾 ASANTS.
