Makes too much to transfer?

I am hearing of tm's that are told by other stores that they won't transfer them because they make too much? I have never heard of this before, is this correct or are they just being told that because the store doesn't want them?

I doubt a store is checking a TM's wage when making that decision.
Also, at a store level, an individual TM's wage, while yes a cost in the labor P&L, doesn't affect the day-to-day.

Which is exactly what I thought too. To me it rather imply's that they are too old sad to say.
