the only mandatory OT I have been reading about has been from comments made by DC workers

If you’re at a DC, merit TMs usually aren’t allowed to work OT at all. (There are exceptions)

Merit tm’s won’t have mandatory ot. At our dc problem solvers have been getting ot snd icqa typically gets ot around inventory.
