finished my orientation yesterday, going in tomorrow to finish my orientation checklist and then I start learning the ropes. just wanted to say hello to everyone and thank you for being really helpful. I felt a lot more prepared for my orientation than I would have been if I hadn't found this site!
 
Tell them you want to be a Cart Attendant! Best job in the store!!!
 
Welcome! I'm new too and just finished training. Be prepared for when you have your cashier training shift. If you have no cashier experience like me, then it'll be a stressful time. Hopefully the people who work at your store will be helpful though. What position did they hire you for?

going to be a cashier! everyone at my store has been super nice and understanding considering this is my first actual job.

You will be fine then. Even if you do have a hard time your first day, every day after that will be a breeze. Good luck! 🙂
 
I wouldn't say a breeze... but each day you will become more experienced and confidant.

My second day cashiering was SO much easier than the first. Yeah you'll still experience some issues and will have to ask for help, but it's nothing compared to the first day. My first day was basically a disaster lol.
