I have applied 3 times to 3 different stores for general merchandise. I have gotten rejected for each one due to availability or preferences. I am a student so I put my hours as from 3-11:59 on weekdays and 5am-11:59 on weekends. I noted in the description however that in a couple of weeks on summer break I will be able to work anytime any day and my next years school schedule will be very flexible. After putting that I still got denied for availability. Should I call HR and ask if they have any positions available for someone with my situation? Should I apply in the summer when I can put my availability as any time? Should I just keep reapplying but for different roles and positions at different targets? Help 🙁

Hours are just down right now so hiring is going to be slow to non existent a month or 2 from now will be much better. Usually only hiring right now would be dire need for niche things like inbound 4am shifts. If stores don't need closing people then they won't be hiring.
