Archived Two weeks notice

Is there a time when they can deny you putting in your two weeks? I was talking to my TL today telling him I’d probably put it in next week to line up starting my other job. And he made a comment that because we’re coming into Q4, they may not let me submit it.

That sounded ridiculous to me so wanted to ask you guys here

They don't get to decide when you VOLUNTARILY terminate your employment.

The most they can do is flag you in the system to not hire you in the future. At this time of year, you are actually doing them a favor by giving 2 weeks notice. Too many TMs are just quitting on the spot, or NCNSing themselves out of the company.

Nope. Target is an “at-will” employer. They can choose to let you go at any time. You can also choose to leave at any time. No one is locked down in a contract.
