Using team member number after leaving Target

I was wondering if there are any consequences if you use your team member discount after leaving Target (in store or online). I accidentally left my number in the Target app when I was trying to make a purchase but was denied.

I know that but I had this strange idea Target will mark you as not hireable if you try to use the discount after you leave the company.

Somehow it's hard to imagine the two sides of Target talking to each other that well.
Since the left and right hand rarely know what the other is up to, I think you will be okay.
