What’s the protocol for your first shift at a new store?
So I’m transferring stores (in same state and district), and this has been confirmed by leadership. My job will stay the same, too (cashier and DriveUp). I have my schedule for the first week. I have literally no idea what to do when I get to the other store, and both the HR and ETL-HR are newer, so they don’t either.

Find the front and lead and get to work, like any other day. You just have to introduce yourself and find your new leadership.

I’ve been there, and know where abouts the TMSC is. My only issue is that the doors might be code protected, and I wasn’t told a code for them. I can make a guess on what it is, but I don’t want to get in trouble or make bad first impressions.

We recently had a transfer come in and our HR had the first hour of her shift essentially be like an "orientation" to show her around our store before releasing her to us (also in the front end). Depending on the time of your shift, you'll have time to ask for any door codes if necessary and usually early in the morning is still just a walkie call out or a button push (store dependent)
