    Target’s Vision

Each store is given a budget for this (at least used to be) -- whether other HR's actually spent it on feeding the team seemed to vary.

MEGATHREAD Target shares tumble as retailer picks new CEO, says sales fell again

I've been gone for a few years now but I was always surprised Cornell was in charge for as long as he was. Most CEO's don't stay that long and while I think he did a lot to modernize the experience he was completely clueless to the experience of team members. He did a visit to our store back in...

Target slows store theft, but at a cost to shopping experience

https://www.seattletimes.com/business/target-slows-store-theft-but-at-a-cost-to-shopping-experience/?dicbo=v2-kMbkEdB To cut those losses, Target recently lowered its product value threshold for shoplifting intervention from $100 to $50. Many store employees avoid confronting thieves when there...

    How bad can it be?

Much preferred than sweeping the shit under the rug and stressing out our team members.

Anyone quit Target for much better retail stores (Macy's, Kohls, & Primark), and even better opportunities like for pursuing jobs in teaching

I left Target due to health issues but I found it was best for me to get out of retail altogether. Some people are wired for retail and more power to them. It takes a special person to do it and I think everyone should spend a little time in retail to understand the struggle. However I...

    8 years, 3 months, and 5 days

It’s up to the unemployment office to decide that though. Target has to provide copies of your conduct. I remember once my etl hr lost a coaching when I was an hrtm and a team member likely won his unemployment claim simply based on that.

    COVID-19 Coronavirus...

my spouse is allergic to dogs so yes. How about you have some decency to people who actually need a service dogs and leave your dog at home. my old cart attendant had many pet spills to clean over the years. Made me sad for him

    Positive update

There is such a huge difference between an attentive, hard working cart attendant and one who does the bare minimum. Like you said you can stand out and help so many aspects of the store My last STL started as a cart attendant. He ended up with a big head because he climbed so far and ended up...

    COVID-19 Coronavirus...

I think the problem is people making the mask this big “it’s my rights damn it” issue when it’s about courtesy. I don’t really care for mask on a personal level but I get it puts others at ease and is what the community is kind of doing to slow the spread. the medical exemption should require...
