A company interested in making money? Unheard of!

They've been very persistent about it at my store the past month. Even if it's due in a month, they want it done right away. There must be something at the corporate level telling stores to do this, as before my leaders only cared that you got them done on time.

To answer the question of the title: I work wherever they want me to. It's part of your job.

This happened to me a few months ago and nobody ever talked to me about it, so I assume it was fine.

What did that one refer to? It makes me imagine Target having a bowling alley. I liked "all Starbucks certified team members are needed at Starbucks". They don't need just one backup, no, ALL of them are needed.

Does PTO count towards hitting overtime? Say I'm scheduled 36 hours and request 4 hours PTO for that week, will I need to make sure I don't hit OT?

I'll never understand why it forces you to print a label for stuff to be tossed (not salvage) either. If it's literally going in the trash why do I need a label for it??

My main problem with "all items scanned" is that means I have to scan every other item and sometimes there will be 5-10 DPCIs in the same location, or items hiding under others that I don't see, or items that are very similar so I only scan one of them etc.. Or I can just back out and...

The skip option also disappears now once you scan a location, instead of when you first scan an item.

Yet more proof that the people making MyDay have NO idea how it's actually used. I know I've said it multiple times in this thread, but why doesn't Target send some of the developers to a store for a week to get feedback??? It makes no sense to me. I'm sure at least an hour of my time is wasted...

I don't think it's every item that's a top seller. In my experience in dry grocery it's been stuff like peanut butter, pasta, ramen, G&G chips, Cheez-Its, Clif bars, etc. I haven't seen it happen with things like canned vegetables or soup.

I think it has to do with popular items, the items that it keeps making me pull after only 1 or 2 of them are bought are all things that are very often bought. So 15 minutes later, another person buys one and it wants you to pull it again. Which means you are constantly just pulling the same...

Why would I want a playlist of the music they play? Are people coming home after an 8 hour shift and wanting to listen to even more of the same music?

I'm not sure that's the case, because none of the other non-food checklane items like sanitizer, hot wheels, card games, mini lego sets, etc. are in the food pull. And the only lighters that fall under food, at least at my store, are ones that are not on the checklanes at all.

I haven't been working 8 hour shifts for a while, but I have this week, and every time with half an hour left I get logged out of the device. Wasn't that fixed a while ago? Why did they change it back?

Would Target pay to replace my phone's screen? I doubt it.

No thanks, I already use about half of my phone's battery during my breaks, I'd have to charge it fully at least twice during my shift if I used it all day.
