I feel you man... I started working this year, one of my tl seems to be very annoyed by how fast I learn and accomplish tasks. Now I kinda understand why some people recently left the store after I started could stay here for so long, whatever not right with call-out in this one and working the...

    Archived Fitting Room is insane

The thing I really hate about FRO is just answering the phone calls... My store is probably considered high volume but the last two times I was put at fitting room I kinda ended up with nothing to sort few hours earlier before we closed. One thing very helpful about walking guests to the room...

MEGATHREAD Hang Me (The Softlines Thread)

The most difficult stuff to hang at softline so far I think it's girl's bra and long dresses... And those very heavy snow pants, off-shoulder clothes I'm okay with the normal pants compared to those things.

How's Black Friday like for softline? I guess the main focus for Black Friday shopper is probably for hardline especially electronic but......I hope they don't call me to help out on that because I barely set foot on our electronic department at all... But if softline was slow then they might...

MEGATHREAD Hang Me (The Softlines Thread)

That's crazy but somehow ironically I found it kinda help for people in my store to really start care about teamwork......Now they finally realize it's not a good idea to let some people standing there just gossip/flirt... And we DO need to help out each other to survive.

Is there a general order now from corporate that both hardline and softline need to get all reshop/zone completely done so everyone can clock out?

MEGATHREAD Hang Me (The Softlines Thread)

Is there a way to better process those set pajama, 4 piece items kid sleepwear and so if there's missing one or two? Or the opposite like having the piece but missing the rest of it? I know we can defect or repackage item, but sometimes if we put them aside and wait for finding the rest of them...

Thank you sooo much for this! You definitively answered a lot of my questions for long time lol I really have so much more to learn! Some tm are not willing to teach new hires in my store, but some tm are very nice to teach me stuff. I think teaching new hires is quite important to help them be...

I still got very confused about how the SL, TL, ETL things work at Target but aren't we have a manager for each department??? I know ETL is really busy in our store with all hiring, orientation and more so I don't expect he gets time to zone at all lol I know my softline TL work a lot and so do...

Archived Cashiers: Do you fold clothes at the register?

I work at softline so I usually fold clothes while I back up at front, but of course I don't fold them as neat as I zone because there're usually more stuff you need to put in the bag that's not cloth right? lol

MEGATHREAD Hang Me (The Softlines Thread)

I think my situation is opposite to yours. My TL is much better than the actual softline manager lol. I'm barely in the team for a long but the manager herself cannot finish the damn zone ...... And I can't stand her keep stabbing behind my back and turned around accusing me for picking on her (...

MEGATHREAD Hang Me (The Softlines Thread)

Thank you so much for the tips!!! You're absolutely right on the "plopping" one... More than one person in my team do the popping all the time, and that makes everyone suffers especially for the team member who do order pickup and shipping in the holiday season now...As well as the new team...

MEGATHREAD Hang Me (The Softlines Thread)

Is there an easier way to tell a licensed t-shirt is men's or women's? I know we can use Zebra but it takes more time while we do reshop... especially when people who hang them are new or not paying attention... And zoning WhoWhatWhere is hardest for me in RTW because most of them come with...

Archived Stupid things people have been fired for at your store?

I always ask for ID whenever it pops up on screen at register, my coworker asked for my ID while I checked out for DayQuil but it's not a big deal I showed him my ID without any question or unhappiness . Why makes life difficult for other people? But I'm not so sure what my AP is really doing...

MEGATHREAD Hang Me (The Softlines Thread)

While I was still very new here, my coworker who works in the store for years literally told me to put stuff anywhere if I couldn't find the location.... But those infant hardline stuff are expensive, I don't want to get into trouble for it man... Until now there're still tm dumping reshop...

Is that a common things that sl tm are dumping/hiding reshop on floor?? I've been working at softline for a few months now, it takes a long time to learn where everything is and how to hang, etc, but the most annoying part for me is probably finding reshop hiding behind folded t-shirts.... Or...
