This Friday after Christmas would usually be our payday. Since its right after the holidays, would our checks still be there to pick up? I've heard horror stories about delays.
two of my co-workers and i were talking about christmas eve pay and is it true we don't get time and a half for that day? isn't christmas eve considered a holiday too? or are we being misinformed?
Is anyone getting gifts for your team? I'm thinking about restaurant gift cards for my GSAs and my peer. I'd like to give stuff to my ETLs (we're small - we don't have many ETLs) and my STL but I don't want anyone to feel awkward. If I give them the stuff on Christmas Eve, there would be no...
On the first day of Christmas, Target Gave to me:
12 Months of being Safety Captain
11 Apprehensions
10 PMR's
09 Medical Injuries
08 Department Cuts
07 Cash Internals
06 Hit and Runs
05 Broken Cameras
04 Smashed Displays
03 Sonos Gone
02 TV's Missing
and a NPR with a lawsuit
I'd be happy to...
Well I was hired Regular (NOT Seasonal) in early August. I work part time flow time. While I dislike few things, I really like the job, but I'm kinda scared. I don't want them to let me go after Christmas. Last year I worked seasonal at Marshalls, and I really wanted to stay there, and well they...
Hello all,
My Targets next scheduled pay day is Friday, December 26th—the day after Christmas!!!:(:(:(
This means I won't have all that extra money to spend on Christmas presents for people.
Will Target give us our checks early, recognizing its the holiday season?
Thanks:)
I've only been with the store since October, but I will NOT under any circumstances work on Christmas eve. I'll try and swap shifts with someone, but won't it just be easier to say I don't want to work for religious reasons? Or would that actually make things more complicated?

So long story short, had a bad illness over the weekend and had to call out Sat/Sun. Went to work yesterday feeling crappy, but sucked it up, but by the end of my shift I could hardly make it to my car. I'm going to the doc today and called it again (Christmas Eve, I know) and the LOD made me...
This is getting a little ridiculous. First, the big retailers always do each other in hours for Black Friday. Then it turned Black Thanksgiving. Now stores are going to have 24/7 operating hours for the weekend before till Christmas Eve.
Granted the early morning hours will probably be slow...
During the seasonal hours survey or whatever I very clearly told out ETL-HR I could not close on Christmas Eve. I see my mom's family that night (who I don't get to see often).
However, when hours came out I was scheduled that day to close...the exact opposite of what I told them.
If I...
Are Target stores open on Christmas? My LOD was talking about working on holidays where you can get time and a half for working, but I have family plans on Christmas day. Should Target be closed, or do I need to put in for time off?
(By the way, does anyone have issues logging into MAX Self...
Has anyone else had problems putting up (hanging) the black box Christmas light displays. They usually go up so easily. This year, I think the hang bars were put on upside down?? At least, that is what I can figure out.
Any tips? I can't just re-orient the brackets cause they aren't just...
I wasn't scheduled for the day , ( today) , and asked to pick up a shift in which I had to decline due to not being able to get into work because of prior plans made after seeing I was off. My question is...since it's a black out day and I had to decline to work, can I get into trouble for not...
