I have seen it many times at Spot, a tm shows up and is not scheduled to work. They are not covering for anyone, just needs and wants to work. Leadship from what I've seen has always allowed them to work. Has anyone ever seen someone get turned away and sent home??
Started working at target about 3 months ago. Curious to know how much team leads, ETLs, and STL make? Just a general ballpark area. My location all the ETLs drive nicer cars (benz or BMW). Not saying the car you drive is any indication of your salary but they have to be going okay for themselves
quick and simple question. I have a ap team member who will be working at our store but will be charged hours at another store. What's he easiest way to go about this ? If possible I would like the tms home store to be ours. Listening to all suggestions
In January, I went back to school full time, as well as working part time/almost full time at Target.
The middle of February I put in for educational LoA. Two weeks later I got my paystub mailed to me, I didn't think much of it because I expected to return for the summer.
However I ended up...
There's word over on /r/Target that flex payroll is being done away with. Can anybody here confirm if that's true or not?
If so, what's the new procedure for determining payroll gonna look like?
Disclaimer: I'm not clocking in and out incorrectly or otherwise manipulating things to get overtime. I clock in/out exactly as I should be according to my schedule.
So anyway I've been having my STL and the ETL-Salesfloor start giving me a lot more hours and even going so far as approving any...
How many hours are those who are on a salary and in stores supposed to work?
My STL was at the store less hours than I was (I'm hourly) last week. This isn't a one time thing, it's regular, and the ETLs are beginning to do the same. If you're salary and don't work your expected hours, is that...
With the recent hour cuts, mine have been cut below 32 for the first time for me in 3 years (I know I am lucky, but it is hurting). Having not called in sick for 3 years, nor used vacation time (unless I was pretty much forced to). I asked if I could use my sick time to make up for my cut hours...
Is payroll getting even worse? I know it's been low, but only 9.5 in my new schedule. They've been calling me in early, and asking me to stay late a lot recently. My wife says maybe they know yer so flexible they're using you as a top call in and abusing my flexibility. I dunno, I just worry...
In terms of base pay, raises, performance. I feel every target team member should make an absolute minimum of 13.50 an hour. Also some extremely underpaid work centers, like GSA and HR, should start at 16 (given that 13.50 was a base pay this would be a 2.50 raise above base pay). In addition to...
I'm at a all time low when it comes to hours. Backroom team members are being sent home a hour or 2 before their scheduled time. C&S being told to finish push an hour early. What the hell? This is only my second year at target. Last year wasn't this bad and the year before that I started in the...
Happy Sunday everyone...
I have a quick question..all opinions are appreciated...
Does Target have the right to only give me one 5 hour shift a week? I am available full time and that's all I get?? When I ask for more hours, I'm told they don't have any to give...Should I call corporate...
With the new push to shift hours from logistics to salesfloor/instocks my Backroom schedules have been cut pretty drastically. So I had a few questions for the other backroom/logistics leaders out there.
-How many hours do you schedule Backroom per truck day? (Assume it's 1 truck, 6am unload)...
With the new performance grading metrics (DEO,DIO,ION), has anyone heard what the merit raise % will be for these? DIO combined the old E and EX, and ION IE and U. DEO is the old O. Most team members fell into the E and EX. But will their raise be 3.5% (old E) or 5% (old EX)?
I asked my...
A guest told me this today after reaming me out about the lines they had to wait in. We had 7 registers open, which includes our entire sales floor and cashier team.
Is anybody else's store completely running on fumes for payroll? I've never seen it this bad and it's honestly the worst...
Hey everyone I'm wondering if your stores are operating the same way mine is...
Quite a few TMs have been fired from what I hear because they're making "TOO MUCH MONEY" to make room for all the seasonal members at minimum wage. Target is finding every way possible to fire the ones that are...
The past few weeks I've only been scheduled for 8hrs a week, they said that it's because of payroll and that they don't have the hours but keep hiring new people...I'm cross trained so I can work other depts. I know it's holiday season so it just seems weird to me. Like what's the point of only...
I get it. There's no payroll. I get the drift.
I even know what to say/"why" and explain it to my team.
But #38 company in the Fortune 500 list, and you mean to say you're going to allow enough payroll for the store for ONE person in HL, ONE in electronics, ONE FR and ONE SL... All day on the...
Payroll. EVERYTHING IS ABOUT PAYROLL AND IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS. I feel as if our store is about to be shut down, it's doing so poorly. Flow team is absolutely demolishing the way the store looks and operates, POG is constantly behind and I dont understand why, I can feel a collapse coming on...
