So i started working at target in very early November, i was wondering when/if they'll let me go. Also how do you know, does someone tell you you're getting let go or do they just stop scheduling you? Im very confused .
I was a seasonal guest advocate and I was let go because the season was over, I was told before I would be done with my final shift that I would get a letter of recommendation by my TL from the HR
so how does it work?
Hello all! Started at Spot back in October and we just got the new year schedule. I’m wondering if the fact that I’m on it means I might be staying? Without a TL straight up telling me I’m curious if there’s other hints I’ll be staying.
I am a seasonal GM tm and I just checked my schedule online. It says that I am scheduled this week and the week leading up to Christmas, but nothing posted after next week. I am wondering if they are letting me go the week of Christmas, or if they’re just cutting back hours. I wonder if anyone...
What is the chance I would be able to stay at target after seasonal? What is the actual date seasonal employees are let go? Should I start looking for something else?
Hello!! I am a seasonal advocate at the front end right now and I was wondering how i would go about staying past the seasonal limit? Someone told me that my team lead will talk to me before the end of December and ask me if I want to continue! Is this true?
Hello all!
I just got hired as a season style consultant, and I have orientation tomorrow. Can somebody tell me what exactly a style consultant does? What should I expect to do during a typical shift?
Hey! I have a few questions regarding work. I started working as GM two weeks ago, worked for a week and then I was off the whole next week, and I kinda enjoy the job. Well, I really prefer backstocking much more than working on the floor.
What am I really supposed to do? After "training" I...
So I am a new seasonal hire for the holidays coming up.
My first week on the clock, I was given three 8-hour shifts. The next week I have ZERO shifts. The week after the week with ZERO shifts, I have 2 5 hour shifts.
Does target routinely hire people and then not give them any hours for an...
Today was my first shift as a seasonal cashier and I have a couple questions...
1. Do I need someone to cover me when my ETL tells me to take my break for a 4 hr shift or do I just shut my lane and go?
2. When my shift is over should I wait for the ETL to tell me I'm good to go or do I shut my...
I am a seasonal TM and a student. I often get a few days in the week where I am not scheduled, even though I have availability. I have been called a few times on these days off by team leads asking me if I can come in (or would like to come in) for a shift. While my availability says I'm...
Hi I was just hired on this week as a seasonal hire. I was wondering if anyone could give me information on it. I was told at the interview not to worry about not having a job in few months (who wouldn't) and that they really need people that will actually show up and work their shift, they kept...
There is something terrible wrong with the thinking of someone at headquarters ..

i’m a seasonal target worker who just started this past may for the duration of my college’s summer break. may 23 was my first day of work, and my last day of work will be around the middle of august. I know the first 90 days are like an observation period, and I was wondering if since that’s...
Wonder where management is going to put them this year ? Run and done might get some. I'm thinking if they give some to dbo 's , who is going to have time to show them anything but truck pushing. And cashiers of course.
Hired for seasonal remodel, I made it clear from the start I was looking for a permanent position. I really enjoyed the couple days of training I did on dayside. Was told I would get close to 40 hours every week. Well that only happened three out of the six weeks. I worked hard, did everything...
I have a question, I was hired as a (seasonal) cashier in November. I have open availability and learn really quick so I get a lot of GSA shifts now. But in workday i'm still seasonal. I was never officially asked to stay on and never received a 90 day review. Is this normal?
After working for Target for 6 months in SFS, and being kept on after seasonal, I’ve been given the cut. LOD pulled me into TSC to tell me they have to let me go after my shift next Saturday, due to keeping too many seasonal TM’s. Quite the bummer.
I had my first day of training for this special overnight position they had which was seasonal. The job didnt seem to bother me, but, I can tell that working 10-2:30am will.. esp doing back to back days. I wanted to call HR and see if since its so early in my training if they could let me do...
