Nearly a century ago there were a bunch of small stores. No big stores around. Are we headed for a second era of this? Will all the big stores around close down and a bunch of small stores open up? It seems like a lot of big stores aren't doing well these days. Macy's, Sears, JCPenney, Kmart.

It can't be bad everywhere! Some stores have to be performing well despite the exceedingly frequent daily challenges we all encounter. Post here if working at Spot isn't that bad!

I have wondered if Target is headed for the same fate that Kmart has gone through. They didn't survive in Canada and plenty of their U.S. stores have closed recently. There are also people boycotting the stores due to the restroom issue which is giving Target problems.
