If you've only worked at Target for four full months, can you get a raise? Or does it have to be at least six months?

When I started, I worked exactly 1 single day of the previous review year. So, I got an "annual review" for that 1 single day of work. $0.05 raise for one day of work! Woo hoo!

I still haven't heard anything at my store about raise or reviews ... are we just behind? Does every team member get a review?

Someone commented to me on her raise today, saying it's the biggest one she's gotten. But I have yet to see hide or hair of the front end reviews being done.

Endured my first review today....how dare somebody not warn me?! Brief backstory: started Nov.2013 for the season. Only gal in the back room. In my forties. I've busted my arse for this job. Grueling is the best way to explain the back room...I can SDA audit, empty location report, locu, subt and of course the fun-filled flexible fulfillment. So how did I manage to 'earn' an overall IE inconsistently effective. So only sometimes I suck? but jeez we'd hate to loose you! Am I supposed to feel motivated after that?
Any insight welcome....

I finally got my review (I managed an E), and the whole thing was a complete travesty.

It's probably because they didn't have a whole year on which to base your review. Many stores give IEs to recent hires because of the small sample size.

Welcome to The Break Room, by the way.

So my only response to that (and yes I'm almost done whining;) ) .....I asked another team member who was hired a week after me ( he is full-time back room in-stocks) he received E's & Ex's and .14 an hour me...08. My husband, corporate manager, read the review and swears it's setting me up for termination....GG don't want to be late for my 6am shift!

Newbies almost always get an IE regardless of how well they actually do. The justification being "There's no way you could have learned how to be an effective TM in that amount of time." The reality is, they are only allowed to give so much in raises every year so review scores are tailored to fit within the budget and newbies are an easy target to keep that down. It's one of the many injustices here.

I really miss annual reviews being done on hiring anniversary dates rather than the entire store en masse.

That makes much more sense all the way round.

@BackroomBabe unless they have been hitting you with a serious of coachings I wouldn't worry.
This is Spot being cheap and mean to a newbie.

A long-time friend at our sister store just got his review (an E). Because he was a former specialist, he was capped so anything below an EX means no raise.
He was overheard complaining about getting little or no pay recognition despite having a lot of experience so he was pulled & coached for a exhibiting a 'negative' attitude.

Spot gave him, the shaft.

That is just so wrong.

I was re-hired for my Electronics position, so started over entirely. Got the 6 month pro-rated raise, but still managed to get an E (I usually get every year, except last year as GSA)

My friend at my old store got an EX though, but hes been busting his ass off forever over there lol ;)

First 9 months at my store as a cashier I got an EX and a 32 cent raise, still waiting on my results from this past year but I'm scheduled to go GSA soon so I'm hoping for another EX at least. :)

IE with a 14 cent raise. Better than nothing. Didn't really cry about it or say anything bad. Just told my boss that I've been going through a lot of health problems. He was surprisingly understanding about it so it wasn't that bad of a review.
