Do NOT coach contract service providers. We are not to coach, train, discipline, etc. contract service providers like target mobile, optical, portrait studio and the like. They do not work for target. If we coach them and attempt to performance manage them Target could be subject to legal action.

This is training that all store leadership, from TLs and up, should have. If you do not feel comfortable challenging your STL on this, and there is no executive leadership in your store that you feel comfortable talking to, then you need to call the hotline. This type of behavior is not okay and your STL is wrong for suggesting it.

You can't coach or write up Target Mobile. Your STL has to partner with Target Mobiles boss. If you pull target mobile into a office you can open yourself up to false imprisonment charges.

That may be a bit of a stretch unless you coerce or use force, if they come willingly not likely.


That being said, Target Mobile TM's dont work for Target directly -- you need to go through their own boss for disciplinary action. We had a lazy one at my store too.
