Sorry if it's been asked but are they going to keep the Target bottles or not?? I mean know they are Target's bottles since they are still in Target I wonder if they could still use them. I would hate to use generic looking RX bottles. Target bottles were so different.

They're actually CVS bottles now...I hope they keep them. I heard a rumor though they will use all the old Target bottles until they run out...then use CVS ones.
 
Booo CVS bottles! I love our bottling system. I've asked every pharmacy visitor that we've had and none of them had an answer about it. I hope we keep the bottles, but it's doubtful 🙁

I was told CVS did buy the patent for the bottles. However will will be using CVS printers once we convert computer systems. Most likely we will then go to their bottles, but no one has said for certain yet.
 
It'll probably just be cheaper to force 1500 Target stores to convert to CVS standards rather than 7500 CVS stores to follow Target standards.

It would be possible to all be CVS and some use the Target bottles. Doubt it will happen, but it's possible
 
I hope y'all are going to be transferring your prescriptions, especially if the beloved ClearRx bottles will be going away. Though that is merely a smaller part of the bigger picture here. CVS sucks for so many reasons and I refuse to give them my money.

Look into Costco, grocery stores and independents for your pharmacy needs. These are the best options IMO.
 
I tried runnin one of my son's prescriptions yesterday and it was actually CHEAPER through CVS than Target...still more than I'm willing to pay, but I was kind of surprised, considering CVS is "out of network" under my current insurance???
 
Has anyone else had a number of transfers going in/out of the pharmacy since the news broke? In one day, we probably had 30....surprisingly, more coming in than out!!! 😱

Considering Cvs has their own PBM and can control where their patients get RXs filled, it's not surprising.
 
I received about 12 scripts for one of our regular guests today. She told me to put all but 2 on hold because she has to use CVS. I said, "Well, good news! We're CVS now." She was so excited about it! We've lost a lot of people to CVS and they all seem to be coming back to us. I guess there is an upside to this after all.
 
I heard one CVS worker aka a pharmacy team member say that one of them tried to use their "Target" insurance for a doctor appointment and it didn't work. This is a pathetic joke.
 
Well it's someone from the turd of a store that I work at so who knows. Not surprising at all. Target will be KMART in a couple of years. The company is headed for a big downfall and I won't feel bad when it happens. The company is just making the environment so much more toxic and depressing than it already is. They are changing so many things at the same time that don't need to be changed.

Unless they lost their insurance for some reason for some reason other than the change...I know 2 people who had doctor appointments today and neither of them said anything about there being an issue...well, other than the fact that one of them didn't realize she was on the schedule today~lol!
 
Any Target/CVS folks here, and have you checked your pay stub in Mytime? Its reading a zero

We all should have been paid last week. If you look at the previous paystub, that is for last week's check. You won't receive another check this week. We should all be getting paid on the same schedule now, which won't be again until NEXT week.
