ETL Work Question

ETLs schedules are early, mid, and late. The ones in my store usually do 10-12 hour days,5 days a week.

#1. How strict is the ETL schedule? Seeing how they are all salaried and therefore have no need to clock in and out, are they required to be in and out at a certain time? Like, say someone is scheduled for "late." What does that typically mean?

#2. Is there a reason LODs never answer call-boxes or back up the lanes? Like, in the 60 seconds it takes to walkie for a team member over and over again to help the guest, couldn't the LOD just jump in?
Depends on stl.

As for 2, sometimes they will, but they do also need to be readily available to deal with other LOD stuff and it’s hard to do that when you’re on the lanes

Most of my ETLs and even my STL will back up the lanes as long as there’s another LOD in the building and they’ll always help out GS because it’s easier to walk away from. My ETLs help out way more than the Seniors do.

All of the ETLs at my store actually like cashiering. It's weird, my ETL-GE will just walk by and jump on a lane.
