we try not to accuse and go with “oh, you may have forgotten” or “looks like the system missed that or scanned that up wrong (for tag switching)” it’s like a very thin line though, so it’s always like a “is it worth it to approach said guest” type of thing.At my store we are not permitted to accuse the guest of anything... including not scanning items.
