My friend had to transfer to another Target a little more than 90 days ago due to personal reasons, but now they are resolved he really wants to move back (for good).
Thing is, we have both been told different things about the rules for transfers.

I have been told 90 days, but he was told 6 months (not by his store, but another one he worked at before).

Which one is it? It's not like he is a new hire, so I would think 90 days would work for him. He is also cross trained in many parts of the store and has open availability.. so those aren't issues either.

((NOTE: Sorry if this has been asked before. I searched "transfer", but none of the threads seemed to answer my specific question so I came here.))

Welcome to the breakroom!

Here is what I think based on personal experience but I haven't read it anywhere... I believe that once you have completed your first original 90 days with target you can transfer and then after that there really is no time limit minimum a decent amount. They aren't going to transfer you and then allow you to transfer again a week later, just a little ridiculous.

I currently work 4 months in one store, transfer to my home store for a month, and then transfer back to this store for another four months, then transfer to my home store for 3 months so that is why, based off my personal experience it didn't have to be 90 days or 6 months for me.

Greetings and salutations.
Get used to mixed information.
But yea, 90 days.
